2025 Friendly City Kickoff Meet | Short Course

The 2025 Friendly City Kickoff at JMU was a great start to our 2025-26 season! Between our team and the several visiting teams (SMAC, Storm, PWSC, and Phoenix), we had a wonderful turnout.  Thank you so much to the families from all teams that stepped in to volunteer and helped the meet run smoothly - we honestly cannot do it without you. We had a very short timeframe and turnaround on deck that day and appreciate your patience with everything. For those who participate in officiating or began their official's training - thank you as well!!

Our 68 swimmers competed in a total of 241 events on Saturday, with 83 first time swims and 103 best times. A total of 534.67 seconds were dropped overall. That's absolutely amazing!!

There were twenty-nine motivational cuts achieved as well from B through AA (find the motivational cut standards here). Those swims and swimmers are called out below.  You all did a great job and congratulations to those who had their first swims as Gators!
