The Harrisonburg Gators host various clinics throughout the year. Any current clinics are listed below - just click on the clinic "button" for more information and to register your child for a clinic.

For either clinic, swimmers must be able to swim a full length of the pool without stopping and without assistance. Your swimmer must also be able to submerge his/her face without plugging nose (able to dive for rings, etc.).

Required for clinics: Each swimmer should bring googles (not a snorkel mast) and fins to their clinic. Kickboards and pull buoys are provided. Recommended equipment can be found at Swim Outlet under the "swim clinic" tab: https://www.swimoutlet.com/vast_gators.

Not quite ready for a year-round team or looking for a shorter committment timeframe? Check out our 4-week clinic options available through the year. The Gators offer Stroke Development and Advanced Stroke Development Clinics with a shorter lesson time. Each clinic runs for twelve (12) 45-minute sessions (T/W/Th for four weeks).

Stroke Development Clinic

For the swimmer who has a strong grasp of freestyle and backstroke and has an understanding of the butterfly and/or breastroke.

Butterfly kick for length of pool

Advanced Stroke Development & Technique Clinic

For the more "seasoned" swimmer who has a strong grasp of freestyle and backstroke and has some experience (but not mastered) the butterfly and/or breastroke.
