Short Course Championship Season
WST Families,
Our short course championship season begins in 2 weeks. If you have not signed up please do so TODAY :-)
1 - VSI Northern Districts (12 & under) Feb. 13 - 15 - Jeff Rouse, Stafford (deadline Jan. 27)
2 - VSI Northern Districts (13 & over) Feb. 27 to March 1 - Jeff Rouse, Stafford (deadline Feb. 2)
3 - VSI Senior Champs (qualifying meet) March 5 - 8 - Collegiate School Aquatic Center, Richmond (deadline March 2)
4 - VSI Age Group Champs (qualifying meet) March 12 - 15 - Collegiate School Aquatic Center, Richmond (deadline March 2)
All WST swimmers are asked to attend the district meet for their age group. This will be the last short course season meet for those who are not swimming at the higher level meets. While the meets are not required they are highly recommended for all swimmers.
The Deadline to sign up for the 12 and under meet is TODAY, Jan. 27th.
Please sign up for the championship meet your swimmers plan to attend.
Also, please mark your calendar for our 2026 Spring Break March 14 to 29, 2026. Both Jim Barnett Park and Westminster Canterbury swimmers will not have practice over those days except for swimmers participating in the ISCA Elite Showcase Classic meet in St. Petersburg, FL April 1 - 4, 2026. A modified schedule will be in place for those swimmers.
