VSC Communications - Introducing "Band"

 

It's the first day of August and a new era for the VSC. Our current solution for communications can use some... updating. With input from the rest of the board and coaches, we have landed on the app "Band" to help with notifications for the entire team. This platform will ensure we have an effective method to notify the entire team of news or otherwise (as  anyone can post, like when Coach is stuck in traffic!) without needing to rely on everyone to check their email or the VSC website. 

 

Please note that the website will still house the calendar and remain the "official" means of communication. 

 

Anyone can become a member of the VSC "band" including family members or swimmers, but it is a "private" group so not everyone can find us or join us... they have to be invited and accepted before they have access. Here is your invite:

It is similar to a social platform in that it will also offer us the ability to share pictures or communicate directly with other members. We hope this will be a solution... not another hindrance. If you have troubles, please don't hesitate to reach out.
