About the Watford City Seawolves
The Watford City Seawolves are a competitive youth swim team committed to providing a structured, supportive environment where athletes can grow in skill, confidence, and character. We serve swimmers ages approximately 6–18 who are able to swim the length of a 25‑yard pool unassisted.
Our Program
We are a USA Swimming–affiliated team offering both short course (fall/winter) and long course (summer) competitive seasons. Swimmers are placed in training groups based on skill level rather than age, allowing each athlete to progress appropriately and confidently.
Our Philosophy
The Seawolves emphasize proper stroke technique, endurance development, and sportsmanship. We strive to help each swimmer improve individually while contributing to a positive, team‑focused culture.
What Families Can Expect
• Regular practices at the Rough Rider Center
• Approximately 8–10 competitive meets per season
• Guidance from qualified coaching staff focused on long‑term athlete development
• Required team swim cap for competition; training suit and goggles recommended for all practices
Why Choose the SeaWolves
• Focus on long‑term skill development and swimmer safety
• Encouraging and structured environment for athletes of all experience levels
• Local opportunity for families seeking high‑quality swim training close to home
Joining the Team
