Team Announcement

Dear Wave Family,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Coach Jamie Schnurer is leaving the Fox Valley Wave Swim Team following the 2022 Summer Season. After 15 years in our Wave family, she has decided to spend more time with her actual family at night and on weekends, and we can’t blame her for that. We appreciate everything Jamie has done for the Wave and for our swim community. She has played an integral role in helping form the Wave into the successful and fun swim team you are a part of today. We hope you will join us in wishing her and her family well, and a lifetime of success. You will be missed Coach Jamie. 

After Coach Jamie’s departure we will be changing a few things; we are pleased to announce that Coach Ruthe will oversee the Silver and Bronze groups while continuing as Lead Silver Coach, and Coach Anita will remain Lead Bronze Coach. Coach Leanne will remain the head coach leading the team and overseeing the senior and gold groups, and we will be hiring a new gold coach in the near future.
