HIGH SCHOOL CONDITIONING TEAM
Swimmers Age:  13&Under

Skill Level:         Beginning to Advanced

This group is for the 13&Over athlete that is swimming to stay stay fit.  They want to improve their stroke technique and race strategy, but have little interest in competing (they always have the option). 

Swimmers choose to practice for 1 hour, up to 1 1/2 hours.  They also have the choice to participate in the dryland program.

HS Conditioning Swimmers have NO PRACTICE OR MEET REQUIREMENTS.

FALL/WINTER INFO (SEPT 2ND - FEB. 28TH)

PRACTICE TIMES/DAYS/LOCATIONS (3-4 practices a week is recommended):
UW-Whitewater                5:15pm-7pm         Mon thru Fri
Janesville Parker HS          5:45pm-7:30pm    Mon thru Thurs
     ** USA registration required **
Franklin MS (for Rec swimmers wanting less training)   5:45pm-7:15pm

 

TEAM FEES:
Practice Fees:  2-3 days/week = $70/month, 4 days a week = $85/month, 5 days a week = $105/month
USA Membership (Good thru 12/31/26):  $92 or $7 for scholarship families

Fundraising Profit/Family:  $300/season 
     ** Boys in HS Swim = $150    ** Girls in HS Swim = $200
     ** Easy to earn with our fundraising options and pro-rated for late starters
Swim Meets (optional):  varies based on meets - league meets are $16/swimmer
     Team Suit (only need for swim meets):  Boys = $43, Girls $60
     Team Cap = $6

EQUIPMENT NEEDED
caps   goggles   towel   paddles   kickboard   fins  mesh bag   nose plug   pull buoy   snorkel   water bottle

practice suit - we recommend purchasing a polyester suit (they last much longer)

 

WORK EVENT:
*Swimmers and a parent work the Latebird Triathlon, September 28, 2025
*Parents work home meets ONLY IF your child is racing.



Swim Meets (Optional)
Approved/Other Meets:

We compete in a league that offers racing opportunities once a month with 3 other teams.  These meets are open to ALL swimmers on the team and a great way to learn about racing.

USA Meets:
USA meets give swimmers many more opportunities to compete.  Swimmers should be able to efficiently complete 2 different strokes for a 25 yard swim (no stopping or resting)
