2025 Mid States All Star Update #2

Step 1: Registration – Complete
Step 2: Time Verification –Open Now
Step 3: Initial Selection—Starts Thursday
Step 4: Release of Initial Roster/Entries—Friday

We’ve had a MUCH easier time this year than last compiling a top times list.  TeamUnify was much friendlier, so any swim that’s been uploaded by TU is in the database!  If you’re a team that doesn’t use TU, it’s a bit trickier. If your team didn’t stay current with uploading results, these may look outdated.  It’s not a Wisconsin Swimming issue, it’s your club.   If you have a high school girl, it’s likely that your WIAA Champs meet was uploaded, but not conference or lower.

So now, take a look at the times and see if anything is inaccurate.

I do have a correction to make that’ll affect 13-14s the most.  We require an “A” cut after 1/1/2024 to be considered.  But, assuming that qualification has been met, we’ll use ALL SCY times for entry times.  There is no “Since Date” for determining the top 4 in each event.  The reasoning for the two different policies: We want to be inclusive in the times being used, but we want to make sure that swimmers aren’t using old times to get in the door.  If a swimmer swam AAA times 2 years ago but got injured and is a BB swimmer now, they would be ineligible.

A note: As of yesterday night, 13 swimmers will have their USA Swimming Registration expire after 12/31.  If your swimmer has red in their Registration Status tab, get that link from your club coach!

Proof of Time Sheet

Once you’ve taken a look at the times and decided how things look, fill out the Google Form at the link below.  It allows you to fill in your club team, note anything that needs changed, and also to let us know if something is up that would affect your swimmer’s ability to compete (example: a shoulder injury that prevents them from swimming fly).

Fill out the form for your swimmer here.

With 146 different swimmers’ answers, email WILL get cluttered with things so I’m asking that you keep everything note-wise confined to the Google Form. Do NOT send me an email saying "it looks good," I'll throw things at you. However, if you have specific questions or comments, don't be afraid to reach out. Good questions get nothing thrown.

As we get your responses, you’ll see the colorful “Time Check” tab go from yellow to green if we did fine, yellow to blue if we made your changes.

So, now the clock starts.  You have 36 hours to make notes or corrections.  After Wednesday night wraps up, we’ll start selecting the roster.

If you see the roster just looks too big, or you signed up and now don’t want to go, or any other reason why you want to pull your swimmer’s name—just shoot me a quick email.
