We had a bit of a setback with Single Age results not getting out until this morning, but we’re back on schedule now. We now have a comprehensive list of times for every swimmer, for you to approve. I uploaded as many high school sectional/state meets to help with 13-14 girls’ times. For MAC swimmers, I uploaded as many results as I could to get accurate listings. For SEA swimmers, we had to do things by hand.
So now, take a look at the times and see if anything is inaccurate.
Because of the initial delays, 13-14s should pay extra attention to the 50s of stroke. Last year, I cross-referenced all swimmers against Swimcloud but didn’t have time for that this year.
Column B *should* be your swimmer’s correct team. If not, there’s a spot for it in the Form linked below.
If your swimmer’s USA registration will expire on 12/31, it’s listed in Column C. It’s primarily MAC folks, but Janis will bulk renew you guys before the deadline.
Once you’ve taken a look at the times and decided how things look, fill out the Google Form at the link below--do not try to change the spreadsheet itself. The Google Form will allow you to fill in your club team, note anything that needs changed, and also to let us know if something is up that would affect your swimmer’s ability to compete (example: a shoulder injury that prevents them from swimming fly). One thing new for this year--we called on a few folks to swim their first ever 200FL, 200BR last year to fill out roster spots. If you have an 11-14 swimmer that *doesn’t* have a time for one of the 200s of stroke, the 400IM, or the 1650, indicate on the last question whether you’d want them to be considered for those events. We won’t put swimmers in events against their will (unless they’re Storm swimmers 😀)
Fill out the form for your swimmer here.
With 150+ different swimmers’ answers, email WILL get cluttered with things so I’m asking that you keep everything note-wise confined to the Google Form. If you have specific questions though, send me an email.
As we get your responses, you’ll see the colorful “Time Check” tab go from yellow to green if we did fine, yellow to blue if we made your changes.
You can keep checking the Proof of Time Sheet as things go along; that’s where the Progress Tracker tab resides. Think of it as a way-less-satisfying Domino’s Pizza Tracker.
So, now the clock starts. You have until 11:59p on Wednesday to confirm/adjust times.. After Wednesday night wraps up, we’ll start selecting the roster.
If you see the roster just looks too big, or you signed up but now don’t want to go, or any other reason why you want to pull your swimmer’s name—just shoot me a quick email.
