The Woodcroft Waves Swim Team is proud to have a very hardworking, dedicated and experienced team of Directors who are responsible for all of the inner workings and operations of the team. 

Our Directors are all volunteer based and provide countless hours throughout the year organizing, planning and executing all items necessary for a spectacular season for our swimmers. 

Here is a little bit about our current Directors:

Sallie and her children a proud part of the Woodcroft Waves Swim Team for 12 years!

Sallie grew up in the Towson area and attended Towson University where she played lacrosse on the collegiate level. A lifelong lover of sports and physical activity, Sallie is a proud physical education instructor at Immaculate Heart of Mary. 

When not on the pool deck, Sallie can be found spending time with her children and dogs.

Rene Debelius

Rene and her children have been a part of the Woodcroft Waves Swim Team for 7 years!

Rene is a Baltimore native, residing in Perry Hall for the last 12 years with her wife, Lauren, and two children. She attended the College of Notre Dame of Maryland for her Bachelor's Degree and the University of Baltimore for her Masters in Public Administration. Rene and her wife own a financial practice. 

Rene's entrance into the swim world started with Woodcroft in 2017 when her oldest child joined the team at just 5 years old. She has been a Director since 2021. 

When not on the pool deck, Rene can be found cooking with her kids, reading or spending time outside with her family and dogs.
