Ryan attended Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, WI, where he graduated in 2014 as a 7 time letter winner, in Cross Country, Swimming and Track. He then attended and swam at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where he was 4 time letter winner. He graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2018 with a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Movement Studies. From 2018-2020 he was the UW Eau Claire Assistant Coach as well as the Senior Elite Coach at the Chippewa Valley YMCA. Ryan is also an avid endurance athlete, and has completed 4 marathons as well as 4 Ironman Triathlons, and 4 American Birkies. Ryan started with the YCV Barracudas as the Head Coach in June of 2020! 

I am the Chippewa Falls Junior coach. I graduated in 2019 from Chippewa Falls Senior High School. I started competitive swimming with the Chippewa YMCA Piranhas when I was 6 years old and continue through high school graduation, finding my strengths in distance swims. I went on to continue my education at Chippewa Valley Technical College graduating in 2022 with my Associates in Nursing and also at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire for my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I started coaching with the team in 2019 and have continued my passion for swimming with the Masters Swim Club. Outside of coaching, I enjoy backpacking/camping, staying active, and being outdoors.

I’m from Mequon, WI. I swam for Schroeder Swim Team in Milwaukee for over 10 years and swam for the varsity swim team at Homestead High School for all four years. I am currently a sophmore at UWEC studying Rehab Science with the hopes of becoming a physical therapist in the future.
