Spring/Summer Season Starts April 5th

Jerry Rodriguez

Hey Team,

I hope that everyone enjoyed their break from swimming while the pool was closed. It was a nice break for me and a chance to catch up on a

few things.

We will be starting our spring/summer season on Monday April 5th. As you know we have different practice times now that the school teams

are not practicing after school. This is the schedule that we will use until the end of school:

When summer starts we will make a few more adjustments with the times.

We will be promoting a few swimmers to different groups and I will let those athletes know individually. Let me know if your swimmer will

be doing other sports/activities during the spring. That way I won’t think that they are just slacking off. While participating in other activities

it is still important to swim as often as you can so that you don’t completely lose the feel for the water.

Tell your friends about our special “Join the Team for $7.00”. Starting on April 1, all new swimmers can register (powellswimclub.com) for

$7.00 and receive a 6 month youth membership to the Powell Aquatic Center ($96 value). This membership can be used for our practices and

any other time that the swimmer wants to swim at the PAC. The membership can be renewed for an additional 6 months if the swimmer

continues with the team (why wouldn’t they, right?).

With any luck, this summer season will be much easier and more fun than last year’s COVID calamity.

See you at the pool.
