2021-2022 Swim Season

Hey Team,

Our new swim season has arrived! It was a short break but I hope that everybody is ready to get started again.

There will be multiple and some unexpected changes to the practice schedule due to a couple of factors.

  • First, we are resuming our SwimAmerica learn-to-swim program during the winter season.

  • Second, it is with much sadness, that I announce that Coach Bailey will be stepping down from her coaching duties this season.

We do not yet have a replacement coach so we will be adjusting the practice schedule.

The new practice schedule is attached. Please look at it closely because it does impact the entire team and coaching staff. Without going into a long explanation at this point, just know that it is the best that I could come up with, for now. There will probably be additional changes in the future.

There is going to be a PSC Board meeting on Monday the 30th at 7:00 pm to discuss the season. Contact me or any board member if you want to contribute anything to the discussion.

Here are the starting dates:

Monday August 30th – Blue Goup dryland practice 5:30-7:00 pm

Tuesday August 31st – Stroke School 6:00-6:30 pm, Blue Group 5:45-6:45 pm, Purple Group 5:45-8:00 pm will start the season.

Wednesday September 1st – SwimAmerica 6:00-7:00 will start the September session.

                                               Blue Group dryland 5:30-7:00, Purple Group dryland 6:30-8:00.

Monday September 6th – No practice, pool closed for Labor Day holiday

Tuesday September 7th – First practice for new swimmers, regular practice Blue and Purple groups.

I will have hard copies of the practice/meet schedule and the order form for our new team suits and other apparel.
