Summer State

Hey Team,

Summer State was a blast with my team of three awesome athletes, Aubree Kraft, Kaitlin Diver and Kobus Diver! They swam multiple personal best times and made it into finals. As a team we placed second in Division III. I hope that next year more of you put state on your calendar of things to do. It is kind of a shame to do the training, have 14 state qualifiers and only take three. Summer State next year will be in Gillette July 14-16. I have my room reserved already ;).

The end of the summer season is near. If you have been to practice lately, you would know that there is no purple group morning practice for the rest of the summer. All groups will swim until August 12^th. After that the PHS girls will be taking our practice time. So, we will be taking a short break until August 29^th tentatively when we start the 2022-2023 winter season and the winter practice schedule. Our first swim meet of the season will be the Lander Spook Splash, October 28^th-30^th.

Our annual Sugar Beet Classic Triathlon will be Saturday August 20^th. We will need the whole team there to help put on a great event. More information will be coming soon.

Our annual hike up Heart mountain will be Saturday August 13^th, weather permitting. I would like us to get started by 7:30 am at the visitor’s cabin. Bring snacks and plenty of water.

Practice this week will be at normal times. You can still go to the fair afterwards.
