Welcome to PSL

We at PSL desire to make the Prattville Swim League unlike any team you've ever been with.  First, we recognize that PSL coaches and the Prattville YMCA can have a substantial impact on a youth's development.  Therefore, we practice Character First.  We want our swimmers to become mature, productive, respectful citizens of our community, state, and nation.  As such, time will be spent weekly on character development.  Coaches, as well as influential members of our community will lead these sessions and also capitalize upon opportunities during practice and competition to teach solid life lessons.

We also practice a Champion Attitude.  We believe that children should desire to do their best and understand the value of hard work.  As children mature through the program they will be increasingly challenged.  We want our swimmers to reach their peak potential through hard work, discipline, and a love for the sport.  We believe that a champion is a person who works hard, obeys coaches, shows sportsmanship, and focuses on achieving realistic personal goals.
