The updated entries for the 2026 CT YMCA Swimming & Diving Championship are now available.

All swimmers are eligible to participate in this swim meet. If you are unsure which events are best for your child, please go ahead and sign them up and include a note in the Notes section indicating that you would like help with event selection.

Dates: Friday, January 30 – Sunday, February 1, 2026

  • Friday PM (Ages 11–18): Arrival Time 4:45 | Warm-up 5:00 PM | Start 5:50 PM (Entries) (1 Timer) - Finish around 8:00 pm

  • Saturday AM (Ages 15–18):  Arrival Time 7:10 | Warm-up 7:40 AM (L3-4)| Start 8:15 AM (Entries) (1 Timer) - Finish around 10:20 am

  • Saturday Midday (8 & Under): Arrival Time 10:35 | Warm-up 11:00 AM (L6) | Start 11:45 AM (Entries) (1 Timer) - Finish around 12:41 pm

  • Saturday PM (Ages 9–10):  Arrival Time 1:00 | Warm-up 1:15 (L10) PM | Start 2:30 PM (Entries) (1 Timer) - Finish around 5:20 pm

  • Sunday AM (Ages 13–14):  Arrival Time 7:15 | Warm-up 7:40 AM L6-7) | Start 8:45 AM (Entries) (1 Timer) - Finish around 11:30 pm

  • Sunday PM (Ages 11–12):  Arrival Time 12:15 | Warm-up 1:00 PM (L5-6)| Start 1:40 PM (Entries) (1 Timer) - Finish around 4:40 pm

Swimmers should arrive at least 15 minutes before warm-ups.

βœ… Eligibility & Entry Limits

  • Swimmers must be current YMCA members in good standing.

  • CIAC High School swimmers will compete as Exhibition.

  • Each swimmer may swim up to 3 individual events and 2 relays. (Friday night doesn't count on this over number)

πŸ… Meet Format & Awards

  • Timed Finals (no prelims/finals).

  • Meet is scored.

  • Awards for 8U, 9–10, 11–12, and 13–14:

    • Medals (1st–3rd)

    • Ribbons (4th–10th)

  • No awards for the 15–18 age group.

πŸͺ‘ Facility & What to Bring

  • Swimmers will be seated on deck.

  • Bring a deck chair

  • Heat sheets will be available on Meet Mobile after scratches.

  • Concessions and public Wi-Fi are available.

πŸš— Parking (Important)

  • Park only in the lot next to the pool.

  • No parking in the traffic circle or by the pavilion.

  • Traffic circle is drop-off only.

πŸ”’ Safety & Meet Rules

  • Swimmers must remain under coach supervision at all times

  • No glass containers.

  • Photography/video is not allowed in locker rooms or behind the starting blocks.

  • Deck access is limited to athletes, coaches, officials, and meet staff only.

Meet entry rules:

  • Swimmers may participate in up to 3 events in their age-group session.

  • Swimmers who are 11 years old or older may also participate in 1–2 additional events on Friday.

  • Fees $13.00 per event, relays are $5.00 per relay (coaches assign relays), and $15.00 per swimmer to enter the swim meet.
