Team Gear Updates, Swim Outlet Discounts & REQUIRED Official Team Apparel

We are excited to share that the Swim Outlet team storefront has been updated with new warm-ups and parkas for the season. Many additional items are also available, including goggles, suits, and training equipment.

You should have received an email directly from Swim Outlet (please check your spam folder if you did not) that includes a 35% off coupon code for one full-priced tech suit. In addition, all Tsunamis swimmers are eligible for a free Swim Outlet membership, which provides savings on shipping and select items. Membership details were sent earlier this month by Swim Outlet.

We are also excited to announce that we now have a team gear store through a new shop in Simsbury. All purchases made through this store generate proceeds for the team. Families may choose free in-store pickup or home delivery for an additional fee.

I would like to express my appreciation to Hannah Reid for putting everything together, particularly for her patience during this very challenging process.

 

 

Items purchased through this store are for casual wear only and may NOT be worn by swimmers at swim meets.

IMPORTANT TEAM APPAREL REQUIREMENT

As the Director of Competitive Swimming, I want to be very clear about our team apparel policy:

  • The official Tsunamis swim team t-shirt issued through the FVYT program is REQUIRED at all swim meets.
  • Swimmers must wear only official FVYT-issued team apparel during warm-ups, in team areas, and while representing the team on deck.
  • Team apparel purchased independently (including items purchased at the Simsbury shop) may NOT be worn by swimmers at swim meets.
  • Gear purchased from unofficial websites or non-approved vendors may not replace official team apparel at swim meets.

If continued use of unofficial swimmer apparel is observed, access to non-official team gear websites will be removed.

The Simsbury shop is intended for parents, families, and supporters who wish to purchase team-branded apparel for casual use. Swimmer apparel priorities remain with FVYT-issued gear, Swim Outlet merchandise, and championship meet apparel.
