Thank you for your interest in the PAV YMCA Poseidons Swim Team.   In order to become a member of this swim team you must be a member of the PAV YMCA.  The team is open to swimmers ages 5-21 years old.  There are 2 practice teams.

BLUE TEAM 
The Blue Group is an introduction to competitive swimming for younger, newer swimmers.

WHITE TEAM 
The White Group is for older swimmers new to competitive swimming, or for experienced swimmers to focus on technique and endurance.

The Swim team as a whole will compete in several swim meets each season. There are two swimming seasons. The summer and the fall/winter. The summer season runs from April/May until July. The Fall/Winter season typically runs from September until March. Swim meets that the team competes in are against other YMCA within our district.  A list of meets are posted on the team website every season, given to the parents that attend the parent meeting, emailed out at the beginning of the season, or by request of any parent or swimmer.  The meet’s are included in the cost of the program.
