Happy Friday Manta Rays!

As we approach the end of our first week of the season, we wanted to send a few reminders and updates!!!

Swim Gear

As you are checking through your swimmer's gear bag and searching for swim suits and googles, if you find you have items you no longer need but are still in good condition, don't forget you can sell or give away those items in the "Swim Gear for Sale" group chat in Heja! This is also a great place to ask if you are looking for something specific!

New Swimmer Registration

Registration for veteran swimmers is open now and will remain open until 10/23.  Registration for new swimmers will open on 10/1/23, but don't forget that ALL new swimmers must have a skills evaluation before we can approve registration!

Skill evaluations are free and will be conducted between 10/1-10/8.  There are only a few openings left, so if you have a swimmer (or know of people that are interested in swim team), please don't wait to get signed up. At this time, we do not anticipate being able to add more spots if we fill up, so please get signed up for a spot if you haven't already!

Officials

We are still in need of parents to become Level 1 and Administrative Officials (A.O.).  There are several virtual options for these certification courses and the team covers the course fee.  If you have any questions about the different levels, requirements, obligations, etc.  Please reach out to me or Jen Keltner via Heja!!

Informational Open House

Just a reminder that the Parent Booster Committee will be hosting an informational open house on Wednesday, October 8th 5:30-8 pm at the Muscatine Community YMCA in the Howe Conference room.  This open house will be geared towards answering questions for new families but veteran families are also welcome to attend if they have questions or need help with registration!
