DRYLAND AND WEIGHT TRAINING


This page is to serve as a dryland and weight training resource for the Gold Group. Swimmers should only do exercises they understand and are comfortable doing. They should also try going to the gym with a gym partner for spotting.

It is highly recommended swimmers coordinate setting up a workout group with other swimmers and a coach if they are unsure how to do certain exercises to ensure safe execution.

Weight training is separated into two different weeks. 

The first week is separated into a Push Day, Pull Day, and Leg Day.
The second week is separated into an Upper Body Day, Leg Day, and Olympic Lift Day.
**The Olympic Lift Day exercises are only available upon approval from a coach. Do not attempt them without checking with a coach first.**
