Practice Information

Practices are offered Monday thru Friday.  Practices may periodocially be cancelled due to weather or other events beyond our control. Schedule changes will be posed on the team web site and through and email blast and on the monthly calendar for each group.

Registration

Registration for the Duluth Northerns swim team is done through the Duluth Area Family YMCA's main web site.  There is an initial once per season registration fee for each group and a monthly fee which is paid automatically on the 1st of each month.  For more information about registration, please visit our team page on the Duluth Area Family YMCA's web site. Northerns Swim Team | Duluth Area Family YMCA  

News and Team Updates

We have a lot of information to share with families throughout the season.  We send team reminders and last minute changes through the GoMotion app as well as a team newsletter to your email. 

Swim Meets

We attend 2-3 meets per month during our Fall-Winter season.  Swimmers are not required to attend all meets.  Families should sign-up for meets within this website under the Meets/Events tab You will be able to log in to your family account and select the meets you would like to attend. Once the meet deadline passes, no changes can be made to our team entry.  A meet schedule with information and entry deadline dates can be found on the Events/Meets page of this web site.

Service & Volunteering

With the exception of our coaches and leadership team, all other roles at meets and events are fullfilled by our families.  All Duluth Northerns families are required to contribute their time and talent to support the team.
