YMCA Membership

As a part of the Minnesota YMCA Swim league, the bylaws require each swim team member must also be a member of the YMCA of the North. The membership fee varies depending upon whether you have a youth or family membership. Arrangements for becoming a YMCA member should be made at the Membership Desk at your YMCA.

YMCA Facility Entry Requirements

All swimmers under the age of 10 must be accompanied to practice by a parent or an adult guardian. This person must stay in the facility with their swimmer during practice.

WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS?
Swim Team fees can be paid entirely up front or broken into payment options. Total fees
must be paid by the end of the season.

HOW DO I SETUP A PAYMENT PLAN?
You will need to stop by the member services desk at your swim team's YMCA to work with a
member services team member to set up your preferred payment plan.

IS A YMCA MEMBERSHIP INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Due to national requirements, all swimmers on the swim team are required to have an active
YMCA membership of any type. One example: Youth ages 10 and older may be on their own
membership. Youth Memberships are currently $40/month.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR SWIM TEAM?
Swim Team is a program that is eligible for our Personal Pricing Plan scholarship discounts that
are included with YMCA memberships. Talk to your team's aquatics director or member services
desk about what options are available to you.
