FALL - WINTER  Season 2023-24

We are a swim team for all age groups and levels that practice at the Princeton YMCA. We cater to all skill levels and our goal is to provide as much individual attention as we can to each and every swimmer while running a cohesive and efficient practice. We encourage swimmers of all levels to participate in swim meets that are appropriate for their level, and provide an opportunity for all swimmers to enjoy the sport of competitive swimming.

As we "re-launch" the Princeton YMCA Pirates Fall-Summer Season 2023 team , this spring and summer we will be working on the strokes and Turns, techniques with endurance and followed by the competition against Pasda (Princeton Area Swimming and Diving Association) swim teams concluding  with PASDA Championship meet! 

OUR PHILOSOPHY

The Princeton YMCA Pirates Swim Team provides youth with an opportunity to participate in the sport of competitive swimming. Our goal is to provide a fun, but challenging atmosphere where every swimmer has the opportunity to reach their maximum potential. Our practices support the YMCA core values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. We promote a family atmosphere where all feel safe and welcomed, and we emphasize team spirit and comradery.

We believe in developing technical precision in all the strokes, while being open to various styles of conditioning and training. There is no one correct way to swim, and the coaches are looking to cater to the needs of each individual. If you are interested in our team than
