WEY Racers Mission Statement: The West Essex YMCA Racers strive to be a professionally run program with a long-standing tradition of athletic success and personal achievement. The objectives of the program is to develop athletes competitive swimming skills while developing important values of self-confidence and respect in a safe and protected competitive environment. The Racers pride itself on being designed to motivate and challenge swimmers to reach individual goals while still enjoying the benefits of a team sport. We compete in invitational meets, dual meets, and championship meets sanctioned by USA Swimming and YMCA Swimming.
