Gators Winter 2021 Swim Team

At the Gahanna YMCA, we believe that swimming is for everyone. The only minimum requirement to join our Swim Team is that each swimmer be able to pass our Deep End Swim Test. The test consists of a 50 yard freestyle swim followed by 45 seconds of treading water. We will be hosting open Swim Assessments on September 11th and 12th from 1-2pm. These assessments are encouraged for any swimmer that is new to swim team. After the Deep End Test is completed swimmers will then demonstrate their ability to swim each of the competitive strokes.
