Nancy Curtis-Pegues - Head Swim Coach
Nancy Curtis, known to most as Coach Nancy, is a lifelong swimmer (started swimming at GF in 1965!)  and has been coaching swimming for over 40 years. Coach Nancy started as a tri-county coach in 1980 and began coaching Green-Fields Swim team in 1986.  She has continued coaching in summer league, USA Swimming and has recently retired from 27 years of high school coaching.   As an integral part of the South Jersey Swimming Community, Coach Nancy has experience on all levels of swimming, including 7 years as the MA Zone Coach and has been running inclusion swim teams for over 30 years. Coach Nancy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from West Chester University, where she swam herself and competed at NCAA’s. She also earned a Master of Science Degree in Nutritional Education from Immaculata University. Coach Nancy has been teaching Nutrition at Rowan College for the past 13 years. Coach Nancy has worked with adults with special needs for over 20 years and loves to spend her time gardening, hiking, baking and working on her needle point.  She is married to Coach Joe - GF tri-County rep,  children, Amanda, Annie, and CJ.  Grandmother to Michael (our newest turtle) and Penny.
 
Tim Tedesco - Assistant Swim Coach
Tim’s coaching career began in 1989, when he was a Swimmer/Assistant Coach for his summer team at Tenby Chase Swim Club in Delran.In the Tri-County Swim League, Tim has served as the Head Coach at Riverdel, Downs Farm and Covered Bridge, he left Covered Bridge to be the Asst. Coach at Greenfields Swim Club, where both his kids swim. Regarding USA Swimming, Tim is currently the Platinum B coach at GPAC. Tim has coached all age groups/levels at Jersey Wahoos, Pheasant Run Winter Swim and Tidewater Aquatics. Tim also coaches high school swimming, with stints at Holy Cross, Lenape, and currently, Northern Burlington. In addition to swimming, Tim has served as the Head Varsity Soccer, Track, and Cross Country Coach at Northern Burlington, where he has been employed as both a Business/Computers Teacher and School Counselor since 1997. Tim has his Masters degree in Counseling from Wilmington University, Teaching and Business Management Degrees from Rider University where he was a member of the Cross Country, Winter, and Spring Track Teams. Tim lives in Mt. Royal, with his Wife, Kelly and their two children, Braiden and Kora.
