2024 Team Registration Information

You must be a member of the Gehringer Park Recreation Club to join.

*Additional swimmers are $300 each.

** You can choose to pay all fees at the time of registration, or set up an ACH payment installment plan in which funds will be directly deducted from your bank account on the 15th of each month through 5/15/2024. All fees must be paid in full by May 15th. If you are signing up for the payment installment plan, please choose either the cash or check option at check out and be sure to fill out the ACH Payment Plan Authroization Form link at the end of registration. This link can also be found under the "Payment" tab on the home screen. *ACH Payment Option is not offered to swimmers who register after 5/15/2024. 

*** Early Bird Pricing through 2/29 $375/swimmer. March 1st, registration will increase an additional $25/swimmer. April 1st, registration will increase an additional $50/swimmer. May 1st, registration will increase an additional $75/swimmer. Price increases are based on Early Bird Pricing*** 

ADDITIONAL FEES & POLICIES

• Swimmers 15-18 years: There is a $200 registration fee for swimmers 15-18 years of age
• Mini Gators Program Swimmers Age 3-6 years: The Mini Gator Program will take place Monday-Thursday from June 5th-July 11th (Please see Team Calendar for "No Practice" days). There is a $275 registration fee for mini swimmers ages 3-6. Swimmer must be comfortable in the water and able to listen to instructions. (Exempt from fundraising fees and meet job requirements unless there are other swimmers on the swim team) If your swimmer can swim across the pool unassisted at any time during the season, then they will be invited to join the swim team and swim in the meets.
• Fundraising Fee: All swim team families are required to earn or pay a $200 fundraising fee. That fee can be paid in full at registration or it can be paid the last Friday of the regular season. Fundraisers are hosted throughout the season to help raise funds.
• Gehringer Park Recreation Club Membership is REQUIRED for swim team eligibility. Click here for Gehringer Park Recreation Club website.
• Swim Suits: While encouraged, team suits are not required. If you don't plan to purchase a team suit, we prefer a plain black suit to show a unified team. Click here to order team suits https://elsmoreswim.com/collections/gehringer-swim-team
• Meet Fees: There are invitational meets throughout the season that are optional and require an additional self funded fee to participate. Typically $10-$25.  GPST will cover ALL entrance fees for City Meet. There are other events that may require minimal financial support such as coach appreciation week or age group socials.
• Refund Policy: We rely on registration fees to calculate our seasonal budget. There is a two week grace period for first time swimmers for refunds, beginning from your swimmers first practice. There are no refunds after this two week grace period, including but not limited to injuries and/or scheduling conflicts, etc.

TIME COMMITMENT

• Practices start in April and are held Monday through Friday between 4:00pm-7:30pm while school is in session (April 8 - June 3).
• Starting June 5th practices are from 7:00am-12:00pm.
• Practice times vary by age and ability. At the Head Coach's discretion, practice times may be adjusted based on the safety and ability of individual swimmers. 
• Practice times may change +/- 30 minutes due to number of registrants per age group.
• Swimmer safety and quality instruction is our priority.
• Swim meets are typically held on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
• Each family is expected to volunteer for job positions during several meets. If you do not meet your job requirement you will forfeit your deposit.

  GEHRINGER PARK RECREATION CLUB MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

• All swim team members must be a member of the Gehringer Park Recreation Club to join the swim team.
• Gehringer Park Recreation Club is a private membership facility. You must be a member or members' guest (small fee applies) to enjoy the spacious pool and park grounds.
• You do not need to live in the neighborhood to qualify for membership.
• Cost of Club membership is $575 plus a one-time $300 registration fee.
• Volunteer work requirement of 3 hours or $100 work fee. The work fee can be replaced with $75 worth of donated goods and supplies for the Club.
• This fee is in addition to swim team fees, based on the number of children signing up (see above).
