Head Coach - Brandon Runyon

Gators! Welcome back, I am Coach Brandon Runyon and I am excited to be leading the charge as head coach of the Gators this season. Currently, I am an English Teacher, as well as the Head Varsity Swim Coach at Berean Christian high school, where I have served in those two positions for the past 12 years. Prior to Berean, I coached swimming at varying levels, lifeguarded for Rec Pools and Resorts, Managed Pools and Trained Lifeguards. I grew up around the pool deck, and have always seen it as a second home, and now Gehringer is the place I hang my straw hat. Apart from work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three boys, as well as most anything outdoors, snowboarding, surfing, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, reading, and cooking. I can't wait for the season to start. Go Gators Go! 

Assistant Coach - Hannah Jacobs

Hi, my name is Hannah Jacobs. I am a freshman at Brigham Young University and studying Early Childhood Education. After I graduate, I want to teach kindergarten and coach over the summer. I have been a swimmer coach for the last 3 years and am looking forward to the season in the new position of Assistant Coach. I have been a part of Gehringer for 11 years (started when I was 7) and just graduated last summer. Last year, my sister and I led the Mini Gator program and it was amazing to see all the growth they had over the program. Gehringer has become my second home over the summer. I love coaching because I love getting to know our swimmers and celebrating their accomplishments. Every time popped is extremely exciting and I love that I get to be a part of their journey and help them love swimming just like I did. I am looking forward to swimming against new teams and learning new faces on the team!

Assistant Coach - Alyssa House

Hi everyone! I’m Coach Alyssa. I am beyond excited and blessed to be joining the Gator family this summer! I love swimming with my whole heart. I have been swimming for around 20 years, and I will never stop! I love working with children and currently work as a student aide for a child with Down Syndrome. I love my family and I am so thankful for all God has blessed me with. I can’t wait to cheer each of you on this summer and see you accomplish your goals, beat your times, and have the best summer ever! GO GATORS!!
