Our Foundations, Mission & Vision

The Airdrie Phoenix Swim Club was created as a result of the tremendous efforts of many dedicated community members in 2019. We are proudly the 2023/2024 Swim Alberta - Small Team Provincial Champions. We are the newest swim club in Swim Alberta and the 2nd newest in Swimming Canada. Thank you to everyone who played a part in creating something special. We are proud to launch our 6th competitive, year-round swim season in Airdrie at Genesis Place, and look forward to many more! Stay up to date with our 2024/25 season!

Our Mission is to build a program of excellence based on a lifelong love of swimming. Elite training builds individual character development, team unity, and personal growth. As well as hands-on coaching and family support to assist every swimmer in achieving their potential. We are committed to creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive environments for participants, athletes, coaches, staff, and volunteers, allowing them to compete at the highest level in a supportive and fun atmosphere.

The Airdrie Phoenix Swim Club strongly supports and advocates for the development of a New 50m pool in Airdrie, AB. We believe that a larger, competition-standard pool will not only provide critical infrastructure for fostering high-performance swimming, and competitive aquatic sports (diving, synchronized swimming, water polo) but also enhance opportunities for sport tourism, and economic growth in our city. This project would enable Airdrie to host regional, provincial, and national swim meets, putting our city on the map as a leader in aquatic sports. A 50m pool would serve as a hub for the community, offering space for recreation, training, and events, ultimately benefiting residents of all ages and abilities. The APSC is committed to working collaboratively with the City of Airdrie, local partners, and stakeholders to bring this vision to life and meet the rapidly growing aquatic needs of Airdrie.
