Piranhas families may choose to register their swimmers for:

  • Short Course Season only (September - March), or
  • Year-Round (September - July), or
  • Long Course Season only (April - July)
  • the short course or year-round registration election may be made during the August-September registration period (note: there is a fee savings associated with registering year-round vs. registering for the short course and long course seasons separately), while the long course registration period is during March-April.

Piranhas families may choose the following payment options once practice group assignment has been determined by coaching staff and registration has been finalized:

  • Payment-in-full of fee, or
  • Installment billing:
    • for short course only registrations - 4 payments billed Sep 1, Oct 1, Nov 1 and Dec 1
    • for year-round registrations - 6 payments billed Sep 1, Oct 1, Nov 1, Dec 1, Jan 1 and Feb 1
    • for long course only registrations - 3 payments billed May 1, Jun 1 and Jul 1

*Please note: a non-refundable seasonal deposit of $100/swimmer AND payment of required USA Swimming fee (determined each season by USA Swimming and the Adirondack Local Swim Committee) is required at time of registration.

Payment may be made via check, credit card or bank account deduction (ACH). Credit card and bank account deduction can be set up so that payment is automatic on the first of the month for those opting for the monthly payment option.

To set up automatic payments, follow these steps:

  • go to My Account and select the Payment Setup tab, and
  • follow the instructions given for setting up bank account deduction or credit card charging.

If you prefer to pay by check, you may:

  • leave your check in the Treasurer's folder in the file box at the pool, or
  • mail it to the team's post office box at:
    • CP-HM Piranhas, P.O. Box 106, Clifton Park, NY 12065

Late Fees:

  • will be assessed as of the 15th of each month for unpaid balances as follows:
    • for Short Course Season only registrations - as of December 15th
    • for Year-Round registrations - as of February 15th
    • for Long Course Season only registrations - as of July 15th

Refund Policy:

  • refunds for withdraw from the team will be granted only up to one month after the start of each season and will exclude the seasonal deposit and any USA Swimming fees paid on behalf of the swimmer.
  • this policy applies regardless of payment method chosen (i.e. whether pay-in-full or installment billing) since a swimmer who is on the roster through the first month of each season occupies a spot on the team that is not available to another potential member.
  • accounts will be billed for the balance of the season's fees outstanding at the time of withdraw, if after that one month deadline.
  • partial refunds for withdraw from the team that are due to medical issues will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require a doctor's attestation.
