Happy New Year Chinooks!

 

Registration:  Thank you to all of the families who have created USA Swimming Accounts and registered their swimmers.  There are still some glitches in the interface between Team Unify and USA Swimming’s database.  In some cases, you have correctly completed the registration process but it is not passing the information through to our team site.   Thanks for your patience and perseverance while USA Swimming works out the glitches in their new system.

 

Practice Plan: :  We are back to our regular Winter Schedule

 

  • Chugiak Tuesday through Thursday Evening
    • Gold Practice 4-6 PM
    • Silver Practice 4:30-6 PM
    • Stroke School/Bronze 5-6 PM
  • Bartlett Monday through Friday Evening
    • Gold/Platinum 2:45-4:45 PM
    • Gold Practice 4-6 PM
    • Silver Practice 4:30-6 PM
    • Stroke School/Bronze 5-6 PM
    • Lesson Level 3/4 5:15-6 PM
    • Lessons Level 1/2 as currently scheduled

 

Qualifying Times:  Times have been updated through Central Area Champs.  You can view qualified athletes for Senior Champs, Age Group Champs and JOs HERE.

 

Upcoming Meets:

  • Winter Splash (January 13th and 14th @ Bartlett). We have 108 athletes form our team signed up for this meet (Wow!).   
  • CAC Water Carnival (January 20th 5-7:30 PM at Bartlett). Yes, it is happening! Finally!  Please sign up in the events page so we know how much Pizza to purchase.  Thie event is for EVERYONE!
  • 10 and Under State Championship (January 21st @ Service). We have a strong team of 33 10 and under swimmers ready to go for this event at Service.
  • Senior Champs (January 27, 28 and 29).  This event is in Fairbanks and is a championship qualifying event.  Qualifying times have been updated and events are available for selection.  Events are available for sign-up in Team Unify
  • Water Bowl Invitational (February 3rd and. 4th @ Bartlett): This is an all-comers meet.  Sign up is currently active but events are not yet available for selection.
  • Age Group Champs (February 17, 18 and19 @ Bartlett):  This is a qualifying times event for all athletes 14 and under.   Events have been uploaded for selection in Team Unify.
