And for NW Sectionals: Jasmine Anderson, Lola Woodward, Karson Kolberg, Wes Mank, Eli Rumph and Reuben Dobson.
And, in further reflection on our teams Age Group Champs Victory, Our team’s strength is rooted not in superstars, but the combined efforts of all of our swimmers for both individual swims and relays. In this meet 31 of our 45 entered athletes scored individual points and nearly all were a part of relay teams that were always in the top 4. It helps that 70% of all swims were personal bests. Alaska Junior Olympics (name now changed to Alaska Swimming State Championship): Bartlett April 27th, 28th and 29th. This is the season culminating championship meet and another opportunity to defend our championship run and bring our best. We are pleased to have 52 qualified athletes for this meet (the most ever). You can view qualified athletes HERE. There are a couple of more meets and time trials coming up to try for those times. We will also be looking for near qualifiers to enter as relay only athletes. If your child is interested please let us know.
Shorebird Invite: May 12th and 13th in Homer, AK. This is a great all—comers meet for those who love the vibe in Homer. It also coincides with the shorebird festival so bird watchers may enjoy this opportunity.
