Weekly News and Practice Information - Week of 10/22/2023

Congratulations to all participants in the Fall Harvest Invitational.  Swimmers achieved many personal bests and new qualification times.  Results have been uploaded and qualification reports updated.  Full results are HERE.

Special thanks to the many parents and senior swimmers who volunteered to helped make this meet a success.  I believe we now have the best meet management team in the state.

Welcome to our new age group coach,  Melissa Trembath.  Coach Melissa is an experienced elementary school teacher.

Welcome to our new age group coach,  McKay George.  Coach McKay has experience as a competitive swimmer and, most recently, as a personal trainer and nutrition coach.

This is the last day of the month so if you have not had the opportunity to do so please complete the November sign-up and status declaration at this link:  https://forms.gle/bZ64rEYAzwotJbaF7

Practice Times:

Note: The next two weeks are big weeks for our high school swimmers.  They will be participating in the Cook Inlet Conference then Alaska State High School Championships.  In order to support their preparation we will not have lessons for level 1-4 at Bartlett on Wednesday and Thursday this week and next (October 25th and 26th then November 1st and 2nd).  In addition, there will be no practice for any group on the next two Thursdays (October 26th and November 2nd).

Yes, we will have practice on Halloween

Lesson families are welcome to practice with their level 1-4 swimmers in the pool from 5-6 PM this Wednesday (October 25th) and next Wednesday (November 1st).  Swimmers must be accompanied by an adult.
