WHAT Swim School

Welcome to the registration page for the Woodland Hills Aquatic Team (WHAT) Swim School. Based in the eastern suburbs just outside of Pittsburgh, we are a member of the USA Swimming community and a representative team of Allegheny Mountain Swimming. Our Learn to Swim program, WHAT Swim School, offers recreational swim lessons with a focus on safety and the development of competitive swim skills.

WHAT Swim School is a Woodland Hills Aquatic Team program committed to making swimming safe and fun at all levels. Knowing how to swim lasts a lifetime—Swimmers will enjoy the benefits of swimming long after lessons end. We offer lessons in 7 week sessions throughout the year.

WHAT Swim School Programs:

Group Lessons: WHAT Swim School offers small group classes for swimmers from beginner to pre-competitive as well as Parent and Toddler and Adult Learn to Swim lessons. Swimmers are grouped by both ability and age in order to provide a safe learning environment for our students to develop their skills. We keep our classes small so individual attention can be given to all our swimmers!

Private Lessons: WHAT Swim School offers private lessons for swimmers 4 years old and older, beginner through advanced recreational swimmers and private lessons for competitive level swimmers. Instructors are assigned based upon the needs of the swimmers and their availability. Private Lesson registration and Competitive Level Private Lesson registration is open throughout each session but must be reserved at least one week in advance. Swimmers must register for each lesson individually.
