Head Coach: Sean Wilken
Coach Sean is an Elementary School Principal with nearly 20 years coaching experience. His main focus is teaching proper stroke technique through drills and repetition. He loves to have fun and find creative ways to engage swimmers.
Coach: Marie Wine
Coach Marie is an elementary teacher currently teaching 6th grade. She has been coaching for over 10 years and is excited to join the Gators this season. She has coached 8 and under all the way to high school age and is currently one of the coaches for Marana High. Coach Wine loves the sport and seeing the swimmers improve their times after all their dedication and hard work. She looks forward to this season and being a part of the Gators and we are thrilled to have her!
Assistant Coaches:
Jack Wilken - Jack graduated from Marana High School in May 2025. Jack has been with the Gators for more than 10 years and swam competitively with Marana High School for four years. In the 2024 season, he represented Marana High at the State Championships. Jack began coaching with the Gators in 2019 and has been a certified lifeguard since 2021. In addition to his love of swim and the joy that he derives from helping to develop the skills and confidence of young swimmers, Jack plays soccer and is a certified welder.
Tristan Magnussen - Tristan is a Junior at Marana High School. He has been swimming for the Gators for about 12 years, but this will be his second year coaching. He loves coaching for the Gators because he loves being able to see the kids grow and because he remembers going through some of the same things. He also wants to help the kids grow to their highest potential and to be the best swimmer they can be, not only with their times, but their sportsmanship too!
Addison Braswell - Addison is beginning her Junior year at Marana High School. In addition to her love of swimming, she runs track and participates in jiujitsu. Addison volunteers during the summer to teach Vacation Bible School and babysits for neighborhood children when time permits. Coaching for the Gators allows her to combine her love for children and her passion for sports. She’s been swimming on swim teams since she was 8 years old and her favorite strokes are breaststroke and freestyle. She lettered in both swimming and track both years that she competed for Marana High School.
Peyton Firmage - Peyton is a high school Junior and has been a swimmer with the Gators for a decade. In 2024, she started swimming competitively with the Marana High School Tigers, lettering her first season with the team. She is a certified Pima County lifeguard with childcare experience and is committed to pursuing a medical career. With a background in both competitive swimming and water safety, Peyton is dedicated to creating a fun and safe learning environment for all swimmers while fostering a passion for the sport.
Dylan Conlisk - A Junior at Salpointe High School, Dylan has been swimming with the Gators for 6 years. Outside of swim, he competes in track and field, soccer and basketball. He is excited to coach our developing swimmers because of all the mentoring he has received from his coaches over the years. Now, he feels it is time to shared what he has learned with the younger generation of Gators.
