Patrick Lim

President

Patrick has been part of the Gators Swim Club since the 2019-2020 season, making this his seventh year with the club. Now serving his third year as President, Patrick brings valuable board experience from his previous roles as Secretary in 2021-22 and Vice President in 2022-23. As a dedicated swim parent, he’s seen one of his swimmers age out and retire from competition, while his other swimmer currently trains in the Elite A group. Patrick is committed to supporting the growth and success of Gators swimmers at all levels.

Vicky is in her first year serving on the Gators Swim Club board. As Vice President, she supports the President in overseeing club operations and helps guide strategic planning, communication, and decision-making. With her swimmer in the Elite B group, Vicky is committed to fostering a positive, organized, and supportive environment for all Gators families.

 

Maria Li

Treasurer

Maria is in her fourth year with the Gators Swim Club and is in her 2nd year as Treasurer. Responsible for managing club finances and maintaining accurate records, she works to ensure a solid financial foundation for the club. With her son in Senior B and her daughter in Junior, Maria is committed to the club’s continued success.

 

Yanguo Yang

Yanguo has been with the Gators Swim Club for about eight years and is in his fourth year on the board. As Secretary, he supports the Election Committee, organizes meetings, records minutes, and maintains the club’s official records and correspondence. With his son in the Youth A group, Yanguo is dedicated to helping the club run smoothly for all Gators families.

 
 

Alyssa Tung

Volunteer Director

Alyssa is in her fourth year with the Gators Swim Club and is excited to begin her second year on the board as the Volunteer Director. In this role, she helps coordinate and manage volunteer efforts, ensuring that the club’s events and activities run smoothly with the support of our dedicated Gators families. With her son currently swimming in Elite B, Alyssa is dedicated to strengthening the strong sense of community and collaboration within the club to support all swimmers and their families.

 

Katherine Laurence

Event Coordinator

Katherine is in her fifth year with the Gators Swim Club and her second year on the board as the Event Coordinator. She is responsible for organizing and managing various club events. With her daughter currently swimming in Senior A, Katherine is dedicated to supporting the Gators community by creating well-organized events that bring families together and celebrate the achievements of all swimmers.

 

Mike Louie

Club Officials Director

Mike has been with the Gators Swim Club for four years and is serving his first year on the board. As Officials Director, Mike represents the club in providing officials for swim meets and promotes the importance of officiating among members. With his daughter in the Senior B group, Mike is committed to helping strengthen the Gators’ presence at meets and fostering a culture of teamwork and support.
 

Chenxi Yang

Meet Manager

Chenxi has been with the Gators Swim Club for two years and is in his second year serving on the board. As Meet Manager, Chenxi coordinates and oversees the planning and execution of all Gators-hosted swim meets. He ensures events run smoothly by managing logistics, working with officials, and supporting volunteers. With his swimmers in the Junior groups, Chenxi is dedicated to helping create well-organized, enjoyable competitions that showcase the Gators’ team spirit.
 

Adam Thomas

Communications Director

Adam has been with the Gators Swim Club for seven years and is in his fifth year serving on the board. As the Communications Director, Adam oversees the club’s website and social media, ensuring clear communication and connection with members and the wider community. With his swimmers currently in the Senior A and Elite B groups, Adam remains dedicated to supporting the club and helping foster a strong, engaged Gators community.
 

May Wong

Equipment Manager

May is in her fifth year with the Gators Swim Club and her first year serving on the board as the equipment manager.  As the Equipment Manager, May is responsible for managing and maintaining all team equipment. With her daughter currently in Junior Elite, May is committed to supporting the club by making sure swimmers are fully equipped for success.
