Three days of a great swim meet gave the gators good results and showed improvement in the swimmers. Friday morning, the team began the journey with the 800 FR and 1500 FR races, where the swimmers from Elite group had good results. During the [Friday] evening, Age and Senior groups arrived to participate in 100 BK, 200 FL and 400 IM. By the end of the first day, gators had the first divisional qualifier from the age group.

Saturday came by fast, and the whole team was ready to keep up their Friday performances. The day began with the 200 BR giving the gators another divisional qualifier, this time from the Senior group. The rest of the events were a sign that gators are improving constantly as most of the swimmers set new best times in comparison with previous races. By the end of the day, 50 BK and 200 BK were added to the divisional races for age group.

On the last day of the Schootman Invitational, the team was supportive of every single swimmer, and the positive environment surrounded the swimmers gathering. All these good emotions allowed the team to have very strong relay events and good performances on the fast races swam this day.

This Meet was one of the last before the Divisional and Provincial meets. We look forward to adding more qualifiers next weekend when we attend the LMR CHAMPS.
