The WDSC Swim meet was the first swim meet of the season to Junior, Senior and Elite gators. The team, was part of the nine different teams that participated, and were able to show the potential they can have during the year and we look forward to see it. 

As a short course meet some of the swimmers test themselves on different races including the 800 FR, 400 IM or 400 FR, giving themselves a learning experience that will allow them to adapt new skills towards the season. 

For the 12&U group (Junior) there were positive results, as many of the swimmers drop their previous season times and were able to adapt some new skills learned. Within the group there were three divisional times qualified on 100 BR:

• Connor Song
• Kingsley Wong
• Samuel Halton

The 13&O groups (Senior and Elite) also show the strength of their swimming skills and team collaboration. Great times and performances were displayed and among them we were able to see some qualifying times:

• Maxwell Ho 50 FR and 100 FR divisional 
• Aaron Lim 100 FR and 50 FL divisional
• Jedidiah Lee 100 BK and 200 IM divisional 
• Tiffany Leung 50 FR divisional
• Freddy Ding 50 FR,100 FR, 100 BR divisional| 50 BR Provincial
• Isaac Lau 200 FR and 200IM
• Sephora Lee 100 FL
• Ryan Wang 800 FR
• Eugene Park 800 FR
• Jaden Leung 400 FR

New Provincial qualified events:

Jaden Leung: 200 IM, 50 FR, 100 FR, 200 FR, 800 FR

Kehen Lee: 100 FR

Congratulations to Jaden Leung for breaking the 14-year-old boys' club record in the 50m Free with a time of 25.52, and to Ryan Wang for setting a new record in the 15-year-old boys' club category with a time of 25.55.

Good performance during the first meet, we look forward to the upcoming swim meets of the season!
