Xmas Cracker Invitational recap
By Coach Anchie,
On December 8-10, we had 10 elite swimmers attend the PCS Christmas Cracker invitational. Over 550 swimmers from BC and other provinces made big splashes at the Saanich Commonwealth Pool. The preliminaries were run on both the West and East side of the pool, and the results from both sides were combined to generate the top 8 or 16 swimmers for the finals.
It was our first team-managed travel meet, and it was a big success, marked not only by outstanding achievements but also strengthened team bonds, unwavering support, and an unforgettable overall experience. Our swimmers had to overcome fatigue, learn to eat and recover well, and stay focused and disciplined without their parents' company. As we return, we are becoming an even closer team, sharing memories of a great experience that will continue to fuel our team's spirit and keep us excited for the next adventure together!
