Chena/Gators LMR meet Recap

With sunny and warm days during March 16th and March 17th, 2024, in collaboration with Chena Swim Club, Gators co-host their annual swim meet. North Vancouver, Harry Jerome Pool was a great location for the event, on which seven different swim teams began their second half of the season. 

The event was a full success in and out of the water. Elite, Senior, Junior and Youth were part of the Gators' roster. Elite and Senior swimmers got new personal best times and proved themselves to be versatile swimmers, by testing uncommon events for them. Junior swimmers were also putting a note as they show most of the improvement in their events. On the other side Gators volunteers complete an amazing event at the pool deck with a strong organization and leadership.

Regardless been the first swim meet of the second half, there were some great results achieving new Divisional standards.

• Zach Lam           100 BK (12&U)
• Adella Duan       100 FR / 200 FR/ 200 IM (12&U)
• Sino Farid          200 BK (13-14)

We hope all the swimmers enjoy the spring break, and keep their great effort towards the summer divisional and provincial meets.
