PSW Jamboree Recap

Head Coach Anchie

By Coach Daniel,

Pacific Seas Wolf swim team hosted their annual spring swim meet this last weekend (June 8-9, 2024). PSW hosted seven other clubs and a total of 400 swimmers. Gators' mix of Junior, Senior, Gold, and Youth swimmers strongly represented our club.

With a double session day, Saturday allows the Gator swimmers to test their patience for a long meet day. Results did not take long to show up and at the first event, the Gator swim team got two new standards. All the events were exciting and showed the improvement of all the swimmers, as they kept getting their personal best in the majority of the events. Saturday evening wraps up a really good first day with additional standards qualified. Gators were able to administrate their energy through the whole session and perform up to expectations.

Sunday was an expected shorter day, as the whole meet will wrap up in a single morning session. Around 7:00 am swimmers were back in the water doing their last warm-up session before the races began. The Gators picked up where they left off and showed that they were prepared athletes. Additional standards were obtained and allowed a positive environment to prevail around the team

After all, this meet allows the club to complete the summer Gator representatives, who will participate in the divisional and provincial championships during June and July.
