Registering a Returning Swimmer

Returning swimmers who swam until the end of the last season can register during the returning swimmer registration period.

 

Due to swimmer space constraints, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and only returning swimmers will be considered first. If, however, we have a significantly reduced number of returning swimmers and there is still available space, we will be opening registration up to new swimmers thereafter.  

 

Siblings of returning swimmers can register when New Member registration opens up.

Step 1: Register on SportsEngine 

  1. Navigate to the Killarney Gators Swim Club home page.
  2. Click on the appropriate registration button: Competitive Groups Registration or Swim School Registration.
  3. Find the group that your swimmer has been assigned to and click on the associated Add to Cart button. Repeat this step if you have another swimmer to register.
  4. Click on the My Shopping Cart button on the top right corner of the screen.
  5. For competitive swimmers: It will show the price is $0.00. This is normal. You will be charged on the Sept 1st.
    For swim school swimmers: please double check the price is correct.
    Then, click on the Checkout Now button.
  6. You will be asked to sign in. Sign in with your email address and password. You will now be going through a step-by-step registration process.
  7. At the Team Registration - Assign Members step, click on the appropriate member for each group (if you have more than one swimmer). Leave the Payment Option as is. Click Next.
  8. At the Sign Agreements step, you will be asked to view and confirm that you have read each of the following five agreements. Please read them through carefully as you will be bound to those agreements once you have completed registration.
     
    ⦁ Acknowledgement of Risk and Waiver
    ⦁ Personal Information and Photo Release
    ⦁  Code of Conduct and Ethics
    ⦁  Refund and Withdrawl Policy / Swim School Refund Policy
    ⦁ Volunteer Service Hour Commitment (only for competitive swimmers)
     
  9. At the Confirm step, click Next to confirm. 
  10. At the Finish step, enter your credit card and your billing information. Click Complete. You’re now done with this part of the registration process. An order confirmation email will sent to you. The club registrar needs to review and approve your registration.

 

Step 2: Complete and Sign the Swimming Canada Forms and Waivers 

All swimmers need to be registered with Swimming Canada and SwimBC. The club will do a group registration for all swimmers after the season starts. Parents will receive an email from SportLoMo. Once you receive that email, parents need to follow the instructions in the email to confirm the necessary contact information and demographic questions. Parents will be required to sign the Swimming Canada Acknowledgement of Risk form electronically. Swimmer registration and insurance will not be valid until this form is signed.
