2024 FastSwim Recap

Holiday season began with our club swimming at Fast Meet swim meet. This competition was hosted by Richmond rapids. Teams from all over BC (mainland and island) attend the meet at Watermania, from Dec 19th to Dec 22nd. 

The first day of the meet was the Fast in Fast meet. This day only 50’s (BK, FL & BR) and relays were swum. Thursday good races results allowed 6 gators to reach finals. On top of this, a new provincial and new divisional were achieved. 

Friday was boosted, within the first event, by a new club record in the 100 IM, by Ethan Man. The way was paved for good results and another 4 finals were reached by our swimmers. 

During the third day, more finalists had a double session. Finals for all the strokes and were swam (100 BR, 200 FR, 200 FL and 100 BK) and the club was able to have a gator in them. 

After a long 3 days of swimming and Christmas around the corner, our athletes had one more day to swim and close 2024 in great form. 

Fast meet was the last meet for our team in 2024 and was a high-level meet on which our swimmers had a chance to face against divisional and provincial level swimmers from other clubs. 

We look forward to beginning 2025 by keeping great results.
