PSW Winter Invitational Recap

PSW hosted the Winter Invitational at Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre on February 1 & 2. It was a high-level meet requiring Western Standards qualification. Uma, Jaden, Freddy and Ryan from Elite A attended the competition. As the first long course meet of the season, it provided a great opportunity for the swimmers to gain valuable experience and push for personal bests.

On Saturday, Uma had a strong showing, qualifying for finals in all three of her events. She finished 6th in the 400 free, 9th in the 100 back, and 8th in the 100 fly. Jaden also delivered a great performance, placing 4th in the 100 free.

On Sunday, snowfall unfortunately prevented a few swimmers from traveling to the meet, but those who competed raced hard and delivered strong performances. Jaden finished 9th in the 200 free and secured second place in the 50 free. Freddy also put up solid performances, achieving multiple personal best times and qualifying for two finals.
