Rapids Summer Open Recap

With the summer key events approaching, some of our swimmers participated in the Rapids Summer Open.

The meet ran for two days (June 14-15) and it was the last meet before Divisional and Provincial summer meets.

Our swimmers were able to test some divisional events, while others had one more opportunity to make the club’s rosters for the summer divisional. Adella Duan added the 400 FR to her divisional events; while Seva Furanov got his first Divisional in the 50 FL.

Over the weekend Gator Swimmers were able to test themselves and get personal best times, that will be the next goal to beat during the summer meets. They will also be a strong starting point for the next season.

This was the last meet of the season before divisional and provincial events.

The team is preparing to have a great performance at summer main events.
