We are excited to announce that registration for the upcoming Swim School 2025–2026 season term 1 will be open soon!
 
Registration Dates:
  • Current Members: Wednesday, September 10, 2025
  • New Members: Friday, September 12, 2025 
 
Note: New members who register during the current members-only period will be removed from the list.
Current members are defined as swimmers who registered for the 2024–2025 winter program. Swimmers from the summer clinic or previous season winter programs are not considered current members.
 
Each level will have Group A and Group B, which are the same level but practice on different days. Families may choose the group that best fits their schedule. Registration is first-come, first-served, and after it opens to new members, spots are not guaranteed for returning swimmers.
 
Program Structure Changes
The previous Development Groups will now move to the Swim School Stream, while previous Competitive Groups will continue as the Swim Club Stream.
1. Term Structure
  • Swim School will run in 3-month terms:
    • Term 1: October 6 – December 20, 2025
    • Term 2: January – March, 2026
    • Term 3: April – June, 2026
Swimmers must register for each term.
2. Fees
  • Training fee: It will be charged per term rather than monthly. The term 1 training fee is $425.
  • One-time Swim School Membership Fee: $120 (non-refundable) – includes a swim cap and T-shirt.
  • One-time Swim BC Registration Fee: $52 (non-refundable) for the year (September 2024 – August 2025) – covers the summer clinic if registered.
3. Volunteer Hours
  • Parent volunteer hours are no longer mandatory.
  • Families who volunteer at time trials or development meets will receive a $25 credit to their account, which can be applied to the next term or to future swim meet fees. The $25 credit is available once per swimmer each term.
4. Progress Tracking
  • A report card will be provided at the end of each term to show swimmers’ progress and skills completion.
  • Time trials will be scheduled at the end of each term.
  • Swimmers in Youth B, Alligator, and Crocodile groups will participate in a development meet each term. The swim meet schedule will be shared soon.
 
Coaching Staff
  • Daniel will be the lead coach to oversee the Swim School program. If parents have questions about schedules, swim meets/time trials, new swimmer assessments, and group placement, etc. Contact: [email protected]

Important Schedule Notes
  • No swimming during winter break from December 21, 2025, to January 4, 2026
  • Holidays with no classes:
    • October 13, Monday – Thanksgiving
    • November 11, Tuesday – Remembrance Day
  • The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Sunday, September 28
