Chena January LMR Recap

Head Coach Anchie

By Coach Hope,

This past weekend, the Juniors, Gold, and Silver groups competed in the Chena 12 & Under meet and delivered outstanding performances. Throughout the meet, the swimmers demonstrated strong team spirit, filling the pool deck with enthusiastic and constant encouragement for one another. This positive and supportive atmosphere clearly translated into results, as nearly every swimmer posted personal best times and moved closer to achieving divisional standards. Alongside their sportsmanship, the athletes consistently challenged themselves and raced with determination during every session. Each swimmer showed impressive focus, managing pre-race nerves, confidently stepping onto the blocks, and giving their best effort in every race.
The coaches could not be prouder of the swimmers’ performances at this meet. Their encouragement for one another and their attentiveness to racing were truly inspiring to watch. Keep up the great work!
On Saturday, swimmers competed in the 200 IM, 50 fly, 100 back, 50 free, and 100 breast. Personal best times were achieved across many events, with several swimmers closing in on divisional qualifying times.
Following a strong start to the 2025 season on Saturday, the Gators carried their momentum into Sunday’s events, which included the 100 IM, 50 back, 100 free, 50 breast, 100 fly, 200 free, 200 breast, and 200 back. With continued focus and commitment from all swimmers, even more successes were achieved.
Overall, this meet marked an excellent and confident opening to the 2025 season for the Gators. Fantastic job, everyone!
