New Swimmer On-Line Registration Now Open
Chino Hills Aquatics CHS Swim Team is Chino Valley's premier USA Swimming, year-round, Non-Profit, competitive swim team dedicated to building leaders through the sport of swimming. CHS has been serving thousands of swimmers and non-swimmers since 2011. CHS swim team currently practices at the Chino Hills High School and other surrounding pools year round.

Swim Team Tryouts
Tryouts are NOT needed as long as your child can meet the minimum swim requirements of 25 yard freestyle with side-breathing and 25 yards backstroke.
Group Tryout
Group tryouts are only available periodically.
If You're Not Sure Your Child Is "Team Ready"
If you're not sure if your child is ready for swim team, you will need to schedule an evaluation with one of our professional USA Coaches. During your evaluation, the Coach will evaluate your child and make sure they are prepared for the swim team. The Coach will also develop a specific training plan to either be "ready for the team" or if your child is ready, the coach will make recommendations for your child's training plan.

Minimum Requirements to join team
1) 25 yards (one pool length) freestyle with side-breathing
2) 25 yards (one pool length) backstroke
Transfer Swimmers & Experienced Swimmers
Experienced club swimmers transferring from another USA Team or high school swimmers may submit their times and will be placed in a practice group according to their current times and goals. Send times to Shelly Burnett at [email protected]

- The Main New Swimmer Registration for 2021/2022 open August 1-11

Other Fees
- CHA Annual Membership- $125 per family per year due Aug 1
- Practice Dues are automatically charged quarterly - Aug 1, Nov 1, Feb 1, May 1
- Meet Fees vary $5.00-$5.50 per event plus $15 swimmer surcharge per meet - Meet fees are charged to swimmer account upon registration for the meet
Other Team Agreements & Requirements
- Fundraising Commitment - $250 per family per year due Sept 30 (date may vary)
- Volunteer Service Requirements - 5 service credits per family per quarter due at the end of quarters. June Home Meet 8 hours per family required
- Required Online Credit/Debit Card for Automated monthly billing
- Required Team Uniforms
- Average cost for team uniforms and equipment $200-300
- Required uniforms must be purchased within 60 days of starting

We recommend private swim instruction or group lessons(summer only) in our swim lessons program.
