Listed below are the skills that each level will cover. Swimmers need to be able to do ALL skills to move onto the next level. Swimmers may be moved at any point during the 12 week program, at the coach’s discretion. Please contact Coach Caitlin with any questions or if you are unsure what level to register your swimmer at.

Beginner
- Safe exits and entries
- Full submerging
- Floats on back and front
- Push offs from wall
- Swimming 5m unassisted
Intermediate
- Picking up objects from bottom of pool
- Holding breath for 8 seconds while being fully submerged
- Roll overs
- Tuck floats
- Push and glide stream line
- Push and glide front and back stroke
- Beginning of breast stroke and dolphin kick
Advanced
- Standing dive
- Circle swim
- Underwater push offs
- Sculling
- Treading water
- Kicking on front and back
- 15m front and back crawl
- Breast stroke
- Butterfly arm intro
