COACHING STAFF
His goal is to provide swimmers with a fun and positive training environment, where coaches will help swimmers work on improving their skills in the water, giving them all the tools they need to swim their best.
As a previous competitive swimmer for over 10 years, Lauren swam at a number of different levels including Alberta Provincials, Alberta Championships, Alberta Summer Games, and Western Canadian Championships. Lauren is currently attending the University of Alberta in the Bachelor of Science in Physiology program and is thrilled to be a part of the coaching staff this season. With previous coaching experience from Young Aquatic Club and Devon Dolphins Summer Club, Lauren is excited to continue sharing both her knowledge and passion for the sport of swimming with her swimmers. By placing an emphasis on the technique of all four strokes, Lauren hopes to support her swimmers by giving them the tools they need to progress through the swimming program. Being recognized as a balanced swimmer in all four strokes herself, she is eager to continue educating younger athletes on all that encompasses the sport of swimming while keeping things fun and exciting over the course of the season.
Before starting to coach this season, Levi was a competitive swimmer for 12 years. For his last year of swimming he swam as a member of Team Triton where he went to the Provincial championships. His favourite strokes are backstroke and butterfly. He is very excited to be one of the coaches this season and to be a part of our team. He says that Triton is truly his favourite team and why he keeps coming back!
